BRIEF:

To refresh the design for the Filling Station Autumn 2019 new menu, I developed a series of titles and identifiers in the Googie architectural style found in the states especially on route 66 from the 1940s -1950s. This was to develop the American restaurant and bar feel within the brand whilst also separating its identity from its sister brand Coast To Coast.

However, to show the Scottish heritage of the brand I was tasked with illustrating a map of Scotland. Due to the restaurant chain being popular with tourists, the map shows iconic Scottish animals, architecture & mythology.
